Baked Potato Dinner
Osseo’s 150th Celebration Committee will be hosting a FREE baked potato dinner event and premiere of its brand new celebration video on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Osseo Community Center, 415 Central Ave. This final celebration event will be from 4 to 8 p.m. There will be four showings of the video throughout the evening. Reservations are required as seating is limited.
The baked potato dinner (catered by Lynde’s) will include a full potato toppings bar, salad, dinner rolls, coffee, and lemonade. Cupcakes will also be provided. There will be four seatings for this event with approximately 80 people per seating. Seating time options are: 4-5p.m.; 5-6 p.m.; 6-7 p.m.; 7-8 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by emailing agdschneider@osseomn150th.com or by calling Ann Schneider at 763-587-1202. If your group includes small children, please let us know when making the reservation whether you prefer a half serving for them instead of a full-sized potato.
Video Premiere
The highlight of this event will be the premiere of the 150th celebration video edited and produced by Ken Schneider. It will include performances by Kevin Kling, James Hersch, the Osseo High School band as well as statements and remarks by U.S. Sen. Tina Smith, U.S. Rep. Kelly Morrison, Minnesota state Send. Susan Pha, Minnesota state Rep. Huldah Momanyi-Hiltsley, Osseo Mayor Duane Poppe, and council members Nick Torres and Mark Schulz. QR codes will be provided at the event for at-home viewing of the video. The video will also be shared on the City of Osseo social media sites.
Silent Auction and Merchandise
A mini silent auction will feature two hand-turned wood bowls created by local Osseo artist Bill Trombley, as well as other Osseo related items. Remaining Osseo celebration merchandise will also be available for free-will donations. All proceeds from this event will go to the Osseo Lions Club and to the City of Osseo’s Historical Preservation Committee.

About the Sesquicentennial
The sesquicentennial is a celebration of Osseo’s 150th anniversary of incorporation. Though the actual anniversary date is in March 2025, we’ll be celebrating throughout 2025, culminating in our biggest events during Lions Roar in September 2025.
