This is Osseo’s kickoff event to a year full of family-friendly activities. Join us for a fun-filled birthday cake baking contest where you can showcase your talents. The top 3 winners in each age division may be featured in our commemorative publication for the 150th. If you plan on attending the event without entering the baking contest, there’s no need to RSVP. Come and enjoy some birthday cake!!!

Deadline

Submissions must be received prior to January 17, 2025.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged by Mayor Duane Poppe and City Council members. Cakes are encouraged to be Osseo-themed and will be judged in two age divisions (15 and under; adult) on the following criteria:

  • Taste
  • Decoration

The Public is Invited!

The public is invited to attend. Following judging, the cakes will be served with beverages.

We encourage people to avoid peanuts and other common allergens. For everyone’s safety, we require that you provide a list of all ingredients used in your entry (on the day of the contest). Thank you for your understanding.
