June – “150-Year History of the City of Osseo” Publication Launch
We’ve been working 3 years on a comprehensive publication detailing the 150-year history of the City of Osseo. The publication is now available Tuesdays at the Osseo Farmers Market and at Music & Movies in the Park, as well as at various businesses downtown. You can also order it online through one of our generous sponsors, The Black Cabin.

Brothers in Arms, by Kevin M. Callahan
Join us as we celebrate Osseo’s history and welcome author Kevin M. Callahan to talk about his book, Brothers in Arms. Mr. Callahan takes us on an historical and powerfully visual journey of 72 brothers who are buried side by side in American World War II cemeteries. Osseo’s very own Earl and Harold Phenow are two of the brothers featured in this special and very compelling book.

Celebrate Osseo’s 150-year history with this special viewing of artifacts from Osseo’s historical archives, items from residents’ personal collections, and loaned items from our very special partnership with the Maple Grove Historical Preservation Society. Long-time residents will be on-hand to answer questions and guide you through the collection.

Osseo’s 150th Celebration Ceremony will be in Boerboom Park, immediately following the Lions Roar Parade on Saturday, September 6th. Join us as we celebrate our 150th year with a good old fashioned ice cream social, Color Guard presentation of the Colors, special music performances, entertainment by Osseo’s very own Kevin Kling, plus VIP guests and speakers.
